This weekend our little family of four headed to the zoo. When we first got there I thought it was the perfect day to go since it was nice and cool. Unfortunately in a span of about ten minutes the temperature shot up and got unbearable. I was wearing Evie in my Ergo but without the infant insert she has to be swaddled. So we were both about 500 degrees. Also since she's under six months and can't wear sunscreen, I was worried about giving her early age freckles. So we stayed about two hours and headed home. We had a great up close encounter with the elephants and Rett was pretty intrigued with the turtles when he wasn't freaked out by them.
I don't know what the deal is but my son seems to be at the stage where he NEVER looks at the camera. How frustrating.
Ramona had a new release this week. Its called Birthday Boy and it was made in honor of her littlest boy, Noah, who is four months younger then Rett. Here is a preview:
I had a lot of fun working with the cute birthday themed elements. The word art is TOO cute as well. Here are my layouts:
This is a picture from the one year session I did of my own little Noah who I watch during the school year.
Rett at the park.
Here is your freebie for today!
I'll be writing a photography tip on Ramona's blog tomorrow so be sure to check that out!
